## Best practice for the armhole

![The armhole height is the distance of the opening between the sleeves and the body of the shirt. It must allow good freedom of movement while limiting excess fabric. ## Trust the AI

Our AI is based on more than 10 years of experience and data from over 50,000 customers.
For most men, it provides an excellent armhole height recommendation.

#### 🔃 High or sloping shoulders
If you have particularly high shoulders, you may reduce the armhole height by **1 cm**.
If you have noticeably sloping shoulders, you may increase it by **1 cm**.

#### 🥵 You prioritise comfort and tend to get warm easily
Adding **1 cm** can provide additional ease and improve airflow around the armhole.

#### 😎 You prioritise style and prefer slim-fitting sleeves
You may reduce the armhole height by **1 cm** for a more fitted look.
We do not recommend reducing it further, as a 1 cm adjustment already has a significant effect on this measurement.

## Measuring the armhole height on an existing shirt
