Adjusting the right wrist circumference

You already own a LE CHEMISEUR® shirt and would like to adjust the right-wrist circumference? This page is for you.

Best practice

Cuffs must be tight enough to keep the sleeves from sliding over the hand, yet remain comfortable and easy to fasten. You should be able to pinch about 1.5 cm of fabric at the side.

LE CHEMISEUR® tips

If you reduce the wrist, you will typically still be able to close the button, but rolling up the sleeves might be harder.

⌚ Accounting for a watch

If you usually wear a watch, add + 1 cm (or + 2 cm for a bulky watch) on that side.

↔ Big and tall

Feel free to leave + 1 cm of extra room at the wrist to balance the shirt.

How to measure the wrist on a shirt

Unbutton the cuff and lay it flat. Measure from the centre of the button to the centre of the buttonhole. French cuffs are measured from the centre of one buttonhole to the centre of the other.
