Where are the shirts made?
LE CHEMISEUR® uses fabrics from Europe’s finest weavers (Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic). Each product page specifies the fabric’s origin with full transparency. The interlinings and threads come from Germany (Wendler and Güterman), while buttons and collar stays are sourced from Italy.
The shirtmaking process (custom cutting and sewing) takes place in Tunisia, in a partner workshop since 2015. This human-scale workshop specializes in made-to-measure shirts. We have become its primary client. Today, it employs over 60 seamstresses in a bright, spacious, and air-conditioned workspace. We create stable, well-paid jobs there.
Shirts are shipped weekly to customers by truck and boat (no air freight), in kraft packaging, plastic-free.
LE CHEMISEUR® has been B Corp certified since 2024, proof of our commitment to responsible and controlled sourcing.
