Where are the shirts made?
Where are LE CHEMISEUR® shirts made?
At LE CHEMISEUR®, we carefully select materials and partners that meet our standards for quality, transparency and sustainability.
Our fabrics come from some of Europe's finest weaving mills, located in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and the Czech Republic. The origin of each fabric is clearly indicated on the corresponding product page.
Other key components are sourced within Europe as well. Our interlinings and threads come from Germany (Wendler and Gütermann), while our buttons and collar stays are sourced from Italy.
The made-to-measure manufacturing process, including cutting and sewing, takes place in Tunisia in a partner workshop that has specialised in custom shirts since 2015.
Over the years, LE CHEMISEUR® has become the workshop's main client. Today, it employs more than 60 seamstresses in a bright, spacious and air-conditioned working environment, providing stable and fairly compensated employment.
Once produced, shirts are transported to customers by truck and boat. We do not use air freight. Orders are shipped in kraft packaging without plastic.
Since 2024, LE CHEMISEUR® has been certified as a B Corp™, reflecting our commitment to responsible sourcing and sustainable production.
