Adjusting trouser hem opening
You already own LE CHEMISEUR® trousers and would like to adjust the hem opening? This page is for you.
The fabric is slightly stretch, but it will not allow a skin-tight cut: keep at least 17 cm so your foot can pass comfortably. You may go down to 16 cm if your shoe size is under 43.
To ensure the trousers can sit over your footwear, add 1 cm.
You can taper the hem to create visual length. Remember to do the same at the knee width so the leg remains balanced.
We recommend not tapering the hem too much, to add visual breadth to your silhouette. Do the same at the knee width.
We also recommend keeping a slightly wider hem to create a visually balanced cut.
