Creating your first shirt with our AI: collar measurement

You are creating your first LE CHEMISEUR® shirt with our AI and would like to adjust the collar? This page is for you.

Best practice

The shirt collar should close comfortably without gaping at the sides. Getting the collar size right is important even if you usually wear it open, so that the shirt drapes nicely across the shoulders and armhole.

When to adjust

The LE CHEMISEUR® AI is based on more than ten years of expertise and data from over 20 000 clients like you. You can generally trust it—and you are covered by our Fit Guarantee. However sometimes you might want to adjust :

🦍 You have a particularly thick neck

Some customers simply have a rugby-player build with a thick neck, which the AI doesn't predict perfectly. If ready-to-wear shirts feel tight but you can still just about close the button, add 2 cm. If you can't close the button at all, feel free to add 3 to 4 cm.

😌 You simply prefer extra comfort

Add + 1 cm to the collar.

Compare with a shirt you already own

Lay the shirt perfectly flat: the collar size is the distance between the centre of the button and the outer edge of the buttonhole.
