Creating your first trousers with AI – Inseam Length
You are creating your first LE CHEMISEUR® trousers with our AI and would like to check the inseam length? This page is for you.
LE CHEMISEUR® AI automatically compensates for inseam shrinkage, so you don’t have to worry about it.
Trust the AI! It is based on data from thousands of customers like you and usually predicts the length of your custom trousers very accurately. If in doubt, add 1 or 2 cm—shortening a trouser is easy during alterations.
Purists keep different trouser lengths for shoes of different heights. Otherwise, we recommend the “mid” length, which always works.
If you want to verify the inseam length on trousers you already have, take the time to measure it properly. Do not rely on the size on the label—trousers may have shrunk or been altered.

Best practice

The trousers break on the shoe at the front. This length is ideal for formal trousers and also helps shorter builds gain visual length. | The trousers end just above the shoe or barely touch it (depending on the footwear). This length is a good choice for most uses. | The trousers end 2 – 3 cm above the shoe, showing off your socks. Shorter length helps taller builds visually reduce leg length. |
