Creating your first shirt with our AI : sleeve length

You are creating your first LE CHEMISEUR® shirt with our AI and would like to check the sleeve length? This page is for you.

Best practice

Standing, arms relaxed and with the cuff button open, the sleeve ends about 3 cm above the base of your thumb.

Trust the algorithm

Because height is such a good predictor, we generally recommend trusting the AI for this measurement. Of course, you can add or subtract 1 cm according to personal preference. Some professions call for special adjustments – doctors, for instance, often choose slightly shorter sleeves to avoid contamination.

👕 Special case : short-sleeve shirts

If you want a short-sleeve shirt, simply keep the length suggested by the AI and, under Personalise › Cuffs, select “Short Sleeves”. We will calculate the correct sleeve length for your build. You may also give us an exact length here (for example 24 cm).

Compare with a shirt you already own

Lay the sleeve flat and measure from the end of the cuff to the seam where it meets the shoulder. French cuffs should be folded, as when worn. Most ready-to-wear shirts have sleeves around 64 cm long.
