Creating your first shirt with our AI : chest measurement

You are creating your first LE CHEMISEUR® shirt with our AI and would like to adjust the chest width (half-chest circumference)? This page is for you.

Best practice

The chest width is the half-chest circumference measured on the shirt (not on the body). It sets the drape of the whole shirt. You should be able to pinch about 3 cm of fabric on each side for ease. The shirt should hug the torso without billowing while still allowing enough freedom of movement.

Trust the AI ! (in this case)

The LE CHEMISEUR® AI combines ten years of expertise with data from more than 20 000 clients. It works for the vast majority of people, and you are covered by our Fit Guarantee.

📏 You like an extra-slim look

Remove – 1 cm for a body-skimming shirt (slightly less freedom of movement). Also remove – 1 cm from the waist taper.

🥵 You run warm easily

Add + 1 or + 2 cm for comfort.

Compare with a shirt you already own

Button the shirt, lay it flat, and measure the distance from one edge to the other just below the sleeves. Measure the full width without stopping at the seam.

Compare with a non-stretch shirt if you want to fine-tune your Fit Key.
